Instantly Remove Acne and Skin Blemishes Using the Spot Healing Brush in Photoshop
One of the first things to do when bringing a photo into Photoshop is to clean it up. Even the best photos have slight imperfections that are easily and instantly removed using the spot healing brush.
Any other editing you may do in Photoshop can pronounce these imperfections, so you'll want to deal with them first.
It's very simple, make sure your brush is slightly larger than the area you want to retouch and click on it. Photoshop will take care of the rest by sampling from around the area. That's it!
You can find the spot healing brush in your tools panel by clicking on the "band aid" with lasso icon or more simply by using the shortcut "J" (hit shift + J to cycle through the healing tools).
The spot healing brush made its debut in Photoshop Elements 3 and Photoshop CS2.
