Meet the second of three finalists in our Official Baby Photographer Contest Elizabeth and Trey Homan of Artistic Images, Portraits by Elizabeth.
Elizabeth is currently in her 19th year as owner and operator of Artistic Images, Portraits by Elizabeth. She began the business with her parents in 1992 and quickly became the premiere portrait studio in all of San Antonio and the Central South Texas area. The studio is located on 2 ? wooded acres where they have created a beautiful portrait garden.
Elizabeth is known for her artistic portraiture of families, children and seniors and her dynamic images of brides. Armed with a degree in ballet from TCU, Elizabeth's trademark posing of her subjects, allows them to appear natural and relaxed in their images. Elizabeth is a Master Photographic Craftsman from PPA and is also an approved Business Instructor. Elizabeth has won countless awards for her portraiture, including her wedding and portrait albums. She has 15Fuji Masterpiece awards, 4 Kodak Gallery awards and many loan collection images. Her albums are also frequently selected as one of the top 10 albums in PPA annual exhibit.
Trey manages the studio, computer systems, album design and designs all of the marketing pieces. Not to mention: groundskeeper, plumber, electrician and computer repair technician. His Master's Degree in music performance put to use and his abilities are reflected in his renditions of Elmo and Veggie Tales songs.
On a personal note, Trey and Elizabeth have 3 young boys, one with special needs, that keep them busy as well. When they are not at home with the kids or working at the studio, they travel around the country giving seminars to other photographers. They have spoken many times at Imaging USA and are part of Millers Speaking Team. Elizabeth and Trey love what they do and hope to always be able to encourage others! She and her husband Trey are frequent speakers across the country actively promoting the art of photography.
Elizabeth and Trey have a support staff of four that help them live their dream of having their own successful business.
